This charming and whimsical painting features a spotted dog rendered in expressive strokes against a vibrant yellow background. What makes this piece particularly special is its story: the dealer purchased it directly from a French artist who was painting live in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. At the top of the canvas, the artist intended to write “Where am I?”, but due to English not being his first language, he charmingly wrote “Where I am?” instead.
