Dimensions: 32ʺW × 13ʺD × 71ʺH
Original Art Deco Barber Station Cabinet from the 1930s. This incredible piece of history showcases the finest of the Art Deco era including a streamlined form, geometric patterns, rich wood grain, and reflective surfaces. It is the ultimate collector's item and statement piece of furniture with many modern uses including modification into a bar or a closet valet.
At it's crown the electrified cabinet features a single light encased in a frosted and etched globe. The workspace below is framed by mirrored panels and accented by chrome while a solid piece of black marble provides a durable surface.
The case of the antique cabinet is well fitted for its trade and holds six compartments. On the left, a tall and deep cabinet with a removable glass shelf is perfect for tall bottles and is concealed by a glass door designed to match the globe. The center compartment holds a removable tin originally for wet towels (which could now be used as trash disposal or an ice bucket) and has a convenient opening in the cabinet door. To the right, there is a cabinet door marked "sterilizer" and two drawers, one with original lock. Two more doors below open to a larger storage cavity and another shelf.
The overall height to the tip of the lightbulb is 71" tall while the height to the top of the cabinet itself is 64.5" tall. The marble work surface measures 32" wide x 10.5" deep. The height from the marble to the bottom of the light above is 21.5" tall. The overall width is 32" and overall depth is 13".
